I made 4 practice squares, and, much to my delighted surprise, they all turned out beautifully. I now feel confident enough to return to the blanket, which I hope to finish before the Baby arrives. I learned many years ago how to crochet, but it’s been a while. This pattern was so easy, even using two colors of yarn. My church donates knitted and crocheted hats to homeless shelters and other charities. I was able to crochet this hat in about 1 day! I highly recommend this easy pattern, that results in a high quality, soft, squishy and warm hat suitable for any occasion.
