Easy Granny Square - No Seam, No Twist! Easy to Follow Written Crochet Pattern

I have just started to crochet and as I could not understand the granny square was about to give up. I discovered Secret Yarnerys version and can now do them without added instruction. Thank you.

This pattern is so perfect! It lays flat, and does not need any blocking (unless you just love all that extra work). You can never ask for a better granny square!! This is my go to granny. It is also a very fast work up and you can make it bigger and bigger and still have the flat, non turning square
The only downside of this pattern, is that we still have to sew in our ends... hahaha
